Healthy & Clean (E)sports.
KALM Partner Dr. Melita N. Moore featured at the inaugural Olympic Esports Week in Singapore — speaking on athlete health, duty of care, and the future of clean competition in esports.
Dr. Moore is an internationally recognised leader in sports medicine — a team physician for the NBA, WNBA, and NBA 2K League — and Vice President on the Board of the Global Esports Federation. As Chair of the GEF Health & Wellness Commission, she advises the IOC, WHO, UNESCO, and the ITU on athlete welfare, safety, and policy.
Her remarks at Olympic Esports Week focused on building integrated athlete-protection systems for esports — bridging the standards of traditional sport with the realities of competitive gaming. The event marked the first IOC-sanctioned Olympic Esports Week, a pivotal moment ahead of the 2027 Olympic Esports Games in Saudi Arabia.
